John is an industry icon who led the development of SIPPs in the UK from their launch in 1990.

An actuary, and frequently referred to as 'Mr SIPP', he joined Suffolk Life in 2004 bringing with him over 35 years of financial services industry experience.

In 1999 he was the first to predict there would be half a million SIPPs by 2010 - and current projections suggest he will be right.
