RESEARCH ARCHIVE
End of 2006
We commissioned detailed independent research as part of our ongoing dialogue with our supporting advisers. Valuable feedback was gained through:
The three main objectives were to gain feedback on our information output, service level expectations and market developments post A-Day and prior to regulation.
Overall feedback was good, and we have taken very positive action when asked to clarify our position on protected rights – our ongoing product development has resulted in the new trust based Suffolk Life MasterSIPP which can now accept these.
A summary of the results was published in Adviser insights - Staying in touch.
February 2006
We repeated the research initially carried out in December 2004 to measure any changes across our service levels and relationships. We also asked advisers how they saw the SIPP market developing post A-Day.
The results showed that advisers continued to trust us, were satisfied with service levels and perceived our greatest strengths to be our administration/customer service, product specialisation and expertise.
For a summary of the results please see Adviser insights - Adviser views matter.
December 2004
We commissioned Oxygen Group Limited in December 2004, and a sample of over 200 advisers completed an electronic questionnaire, focused on service issues and the relationships.
The results confirmed that we had a strong positive relationship in 90% of cases, that advisers trusted us and that they saw service as an important strength. However the results also showed a need to raise our profile within the market.
