WORKING TOGETHER
VALUATIONS
The timing of valuations quoted in annual statements will depend of the type of asset involved.
Investments other than property
Most investments are dealt on a daily basis so will be valued on the last working day before the annual statement date. However, certain investments, such as some unregulated or offshore investments can be more difficult to value and therefore will show the most recent value we hold.
For assets that are only valued monthly or even yearly, we will quote the most recent value we hold. There may be a delay between the date of the valuation and the date we are informed of it. Therefore, on occasion, values quoted on these assets may be more that one year old. The date of the latest value we hold for an investment is shown on our secure portal.
Property
The value for any properties held within a SIPP, will be the last valuation submitted to us by a surveyor. If you wish to obtain an up to date valuation for a property, you need to ask us to instruct a surveyor to value the property. The costs of this will be charged to the SIPP.
