New Suffolk Life website launched
To coincide with the annoucement of our new Suffolk Life MasterSIPP we have revamped the website. The new layout holds more content and is designed to be smoother and easier to navigate for everyone. Check back over the coming weeks to see additional content added.

The new Suffolk Life MasterSIPP announced
We are proud to announce the new Suffolk Life MasterSIPP following our launch event at the Great Eastern Hotel in London today. Based on feedback and research, the new trust based SIPP allows for an even wider array on investment assets to be included, and importantly also now accepts transfers in of protected rights funds - a £100 billion market to date virtually untouched by the possibility of self-investment via a SIPP.

Full details of the Suffolk Life MasterSIPP are available on the website. The Suffolk Life MasterSIPP is expected to be available for application and investment in late October.

FSA regulation of personal pensions from 6 April
We are pleased to confirm that we have received formal approval from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for us to carry out the post 6 April 2007 activity of establishing, operating or winding up personal pension schemes, including SIPPs. Suffolk Life Annuities Limited is already authorised under the current regime to offer personal pensions. This approval extends our permissions from 6 April 2007 to cover the relevant activities under the new rules governing the regulation of personal pensions.

Suffolk Life support local charity
On the 23 February 2007 Suffolk Life hosted a charity evening in aid of the St Elizabeth Hospice at the St Nicolas Centre in Ipswich. The evening consisted of a grand prize draw, mini auction and live band.

The event was a great success and £5,000 was raised.
